Man gored to death at Pamplona bull-running festival - Times Online

A young man was gored to death today at the San Fermin Running of the Bulls festival in Spain, the event's first fatality in 14 years.

Daniel Gimeno Romero, 27, from Madrid, was struck by a bull in the neck and died later in hospital. He was gored by the bull during the half-mile dash in which hundreds of runners try to stay one step ahead of a group of bulls as they dash through the streets of Pamplona, northern Spain.
